Woodworking Classes and Gift Cards make great gifts!
Many of our most popular class projects are now for sale at the Nautical Arts Gallery.
We will be retiring from teaching scheduled classes at the end of July 2025.
Private instruction will still be offered! Please contact us to schedule a lesson or activity.
The Nautical Arts Gallery will also be open. In addition to online sales, the gallery will be open by appointment and you will see us at local art shows.

Thanks for your support!

Welcome to The Nautical Arts Workshop

We are a woodworking and craft school located in Deep River, Connecticut. We offer hands-on classes that are inspired by our rich maritime heritage. Our students use traditional hand tools and techniques in creating individual projects. We have a variety of classes to meet our participants’ interests and skill levels. Our small class ensures that everyone receives personal instruction and guidance.

Take this hands-on voyage of discovery.
