This hand carved 16" is made of Mahogany and Basswood. It has a Spanish cedar boot stripe and is finished with several coats of satin polyurethane. It is mounted on a 7" x 20" black backboard and has a solid brass identification plate "Herreshoff 12-1/2 - 1914".
